On July 8, a batch of 44 tons of young coconuts from Thailand were delivered to Zhenghexing Port Terminal in Taicang Port Area by Hehui Yinong Company. They were efficiently cleared through the port’s “fresh food line” and were immediately transported to Jiaxing and other surrounding cities for “fresh” listing.
This is the first batch of young coconuts imported by Taicang Port this year, successfully building a new distribution and logistics channel for imported fruits. In the first half of this year, Hehui Yinong Company has imported about 160 tons of bananas, dragon fruits and other fruits at Suzhou Port. The Port Management Committee, together with the Customs and other port units, has established a multi-department information exchange mechanism, opened a “Youxian” product service window, provided a “fresh food special line” service, connected with the fruit import plan in advance, and helped enterprises make good use of convenient measures such as appointment clearance and priority inspection. While strictly supervising, it provides maximum convenience for enterprises, ensures that enterprises can load and unload quickly, and quickly pick up, so that more high-quality imported fruits can appear on consumers’ tables as soon as possible.
